Dec 14, 2005· The 4wd is very helpful with the front-end loader especially. If you have a load in the bucket, you can sometimes lose traction on the rear wheels. With 2wd you're out of luck if this happens, until you can stop and lighten the load. With 4wd, the front tires keep your load moving.
