Nov 26, 2020· New Delhi, Nov 26 (IANS): Earthmoving and construction equipment manufacturer JCB India has launched the country's first dual-fuel CNG 'Backhoe Loader' in India. The 'JCB 3DX DFi', which can operate on CNG and diesel simultaneously using the HCCI technology, was launched here by Union Road Transport & Highways and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Nitin Gadkari.
The first Tractor Loader Backhoe was a Wain-Roy backhoe mounted to a Frank G. Hough model "HE" in 1952 in Holden, Massachusetts, USA, for the Holden Water Department.
In 1953, his first backhoe loader was launched, and the JCB logo appeared for the first time. It was designed by Derby Media and advertising designer Leslie Smith. In 1957, the firm launched the "hydra-digga", incorporating the excavator and the major loader as a single all-purpose tool useful for the agricultural and construction industries.
