The unique offset head design eliminates cross-pins and cotter pins to retain the pin. A nut ensures the pins remain in position. A lubrication groove provides a path for lubrication. End-of-pin lubrication allows easy access for servicing grease points, which are visible from the side of the loader.

Wipe down the grease point with a rag.
Aug 28, 2011· the zerks still had pretty orange paint over them and had not taken any grease. Look into the joints and make sure grease has flowed out of the pins and overflowed the joints. Lets say yours was properly greased and now 10 hours of loader use has passed, (grease on every multiple of 10 on your hour meter) and you are ready to tackel this job.

Oct 02, 2015· Backhoes are joint-intensive machines with numerous pivot points. Regular greasing of pins and bushings ensures the longevity of these high-load-bearing components, eliminating unnecessary wear-and-tear. In fact, some pins and bushings require daily greasing. "Also, keep in mind that you need to use the right grease," Burton adds.

when i purchased my boat trailer it came with aluminum L-shaped pins to secure the wheel nut. these pins fit the hole in the spindle snuggly, allowing me to pump grease through the spindle to the inner bearing, forcing the old grease out around the outer bearing. i cannot find these pins anywhere and am told to use a standard cotter pin but i cannot find one that fits snuggly in the hole, so ...

Jan 01, 2009· Winger, Something like a loader bucket isn't exactly 'precision tool and die' work. If the parts warp enough that the pin binds, you can try 'adjusting' the warpage a bit with two strong helpers, one holding a heavy sledge in a suitable 'backup' spot, and the other making the 'adjustment' with another heavy sledge' This is why an 8lb. sledge is referred to as a 'precision adjustment tool' in ...

Feb 05, 2018· What should be used for things like pinned joints as opposed to gear applications. When I was in the USN there was a different type of grease for every different machine. Boat davits go one type of grease in the bearings, another on the gears, another on the lines and finally another on the sheaves and pivot points on the boom.

I'm trying to help my brother's boss fix an Eimco 911. It's an old underground articulating front loader. The pivot pin for the rear axle was never greased. So it has all kinds of slop because it's worn out in the center, but it looks like it is seized to the bushings at the ends.
Nov 05, 2012· I use synthetic grease with moly. Water doesn't wash it out and it stays where you put it. My loader tractor gets used almost every day and I only have to grease it 4 or 5 times a year. There is a difference in grease and you get what you pay for. The cost of one pin will pay for a case of good grease.
Jul 08, 2013· According to the loader operating manual, the polyurea is the "preferred" grease for loader pins. It doesn't dry out like moly. The corn head grease turns to fluid easy. It is very good for gear boxes that require grease. It would probably be great for that old post hole digger that you have.
