When installing wheel spacers, you must torque them to 150 ft. lbs., run them for a while and then re-torque them. When they are new, there will be some break-in where the paint wears, the studs seat and the nuts seat into your wheels. If you do not re-torque, you run the risk of the spacers coming loose and damaging the lug nuts and your wheels.
